Speak.
It types itself.
Quiet Pilot listens, transcribes live, and shapes your words into notes worth keeping — with AI that runs entirely on your iPhone.
Your recordings and notes stay on this iPhone — never sent to us or to a cloud AI.
Free to download. No subscription. No account.
Remind me to call the pharmacy before five, and pick up Maya from practice on the way home…

words appear as you speak them — not after you stop.
to download and record. US$9.99 once (shown in your local price on the App Store) unlocks unlimited AI notes — no subscription, ever.
Press record. That's the whole skill.
No timelines, no folders. Three moments between a thought and a note you'll actually keep.
Talk
Press record and think out loud. The transcript streams onto the screen as you speak — so you can read the words as they land.
Shape
Pick a prompt — Summary, Actions, Meeting Notes, Key Points, Email — or write your own. The on-device AI reworks your rambling into structure.
Keep
A typeset note, saved on your phone. Share it, export it, or let it stay yours alone.
Private by architecture, not by promise.
Most AI note apps send your voice to a server and promise to be careful with it. Quiet Pilot can't be careless — there is no server of ours to send it to.
Whisper speech recognition and the Pro model (Qwen 3 4B) run on the iPhone's own silicon. No account to create. No analytics watching you. After the models are downloaded, airplane mode is fine — recording, transcription and AI notes all keep working.
That's why the App Store privacy label isn't a paragraph of disclosures. It's one line.
Data Not Collected
The developer does not collect any data from this app.
A quiet instrument, tuned for one job.
Everything a voice note needs. Nothing that needs your data.
Pick a prompt. Or write your own.
Built-in templates turn the same recording into whatever you need — a summary, a list of actions, meeting minutes, key points, an email.
Or tell the AI exactly what you want: "pull out every action item and who owns it." Your recent prompts are remembered, on the device, like everything else.
Capture from anywhere.
Thoughts don't wait for you to find an app icon. Quiet Pilot starts recording from wherever your thumb already is.
- Lock Screen widget — record without unlocking a single folder
- Action button — one press, already listening
- Control Center — a swipe away from any app
- Siri & Shortcuts — "start a Quiet Pilot recording"
- Typeset notes — your words set in a serif face that's a pleasure to reread
- Export anywhere — share sheet, text, or Markdown; your notes are never held hostage
- 30-day Recently Deleted — changed your mind? It's still there
- Fully offline after setup — a plane, a basement, a dead zone: all fine
Yours to keep. Actually yours.
Notes live in your phone's storage, not in a company's database. Delete the app and they're gone from your device; export them and they're free. They're included in your own iPhone backups, like any app's data.
Free to start. One price to go further.
Record all you want.

Requires iOS 26. On iPhones that can run Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 family), free notes use Apple Intelligence and the unlock adds the Pro model (Qwen 3 4B); on other supported iPhones, the Pro model is the engine and is free.
